Hello, my fellow musicians! My name is Richard Bessey, I am a lead guitar player from Western MA with 40 years of experience. I have played in bands across the United States, no big names. I have studied every major guitar style, including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Metal, Country, Classical, Reggae, and Flamenco. I have taken music classes/lessons from Berkeley and HCC, and have had many guitar teachers, including Roy Z of Bruce Dickinson fame. I have read almost every guitar book, magazine, guitar blog, and watched just about every popular guitar video to gain as much knowledge as I could. My influences are too many to name (I could write pages on this, and every day it would be different)! I have learned something from everyone, everywhere, and have incorporated that knowledge into my playing style.

I have road crewed for some of the biggest acts and musicians out there. Lefty Fosters, The Sha Boo Allstars have had just about every big-name blues musician on stage with them at one time or another. Pantera, Great White, and my favorite-Driver a semi-local/national band consisting of metal melodic singer Rob Rock (M.A.R.S. Impellitteri, Joshua, etc.), drum sensation BJ Zampa (Dokken, Yngwie Malmsteen, Metal Church, etc.), and Guitar/producer extraordinaire Roy Z (Bruce Dickenson, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Sepultura, Tribe of Gypsies, etc.)
